Partial Solar eclipse 20 March 2015

In the capital city of Slovenia, Ljubljana, public observation of the Solar eclipse was held on one of the town squares. Astronomical societies and individual brought more than 15 telescopes (regular protected with mylar foil or special h-alpha telescopes), some binoculars and countless of cameras and eclipse glasses.

During the eclipse more than 10.000 people joined the event and looked through a variety of optical systems.

The final stages of the eclipse were partially obscured by the clouds.

29 – Asteroid (2) Palas occults a +11.0 magnitude star at 01:39 UT for 30 s and magnitude drops for 0.3, detailed info.
